Blancpain
Blancpain watches date back to 1735 when Jehan-Jacques Blancpain started the enterprise in his farmhouse in Switzerland. After the First World War, Frederick, one of the members of the large family, entered to the family business and introduced the wristwatch to the product line. In 1932, the long run of the family involvement ended when the last of seven generations died. It wasn’t until later, in 1983, that Jean-Claude Biber (Omega executive) and Hacques Piguet joined the Blancpain brand that the company revived. The re-launch proved a success and the company’s reputation for its commitment to producing fine timepieces. Blancpain watches are elegant and tasteful wristwatches to be worn.
